Wolf Form

I think you're doing a fantastic job, I check for your uploads every couple of months because I want to play another Twilight Princess, and your game, as well as being that, could potentially even have a darker more real heart pounding story.  The videos you've uploaded have given me hope that you might set up fun clevor puzzles using new mechanics, it looks like you have the mind for it.

The reason I was first interested in Twilight Princess at all though was having the ability to play as a wolf.  I scoured the whole game as a wolf at every possible moment, that's why that game feels so magical to me.  Please tell me, are you planning to include wolf gameplay in Twilight Legends?  If you haven't been considering it, do you think you can be convinced to?  That's more or less the whole reason I've kept up with your videos for a few years, hoping that the next one would include the wolf form.

In the name of the greater Zelda fan community I thank you totally for what you've already done and are doing.  But I only want to be a wolf again. <->; And maybe get to do violent things like actually hurt or kill people as one, and hunting for food, haha.

A wolf part is planned in the storyline. However, I can't tell yet if the player will be able to turn anytime or not.

That's enough to excite me a whole bunch.  Thank you thank you!  I want to learn more about this storyline, I wonder if the prison cuff will be removed like Midna's fused shadow crown.  I also think talking with other animals in wolf form could have had lots more cool uses in Twilight Princess.  Going to shut up now, thank you for your work.

I've just read a couple of reddit threads of opinions about Link's wolf form from Twilight Princess, I was discouraged to find that lots of people didn't like it. :/ Most of them said hunting bugs wasn't any fun, but some just didn't like the concept at all.  I don't agree with those people at all, I hope you don't either.

I've been thinking about the way the wolf/human gameplay combination worked in Twilight Princess, exploring dangerous frightening areas first as a twilight beast yourself, (the wolf) not just because going through the door presses that metaphorical transformation button but because you're a better fit that way in that world.  Spying on characters who see you differently that way was also a really cool theme, like when we first stole the sword and shield.  The talking with other animals part, that was sort of gimmicky, but more NPCs with more dialog is always enjoyable.  Being seen differently though, like in Hyrule Castle Town near the end of the game or by the injured Rusl in Ordon Village, that was the greatest.

A certain written book version of Twilight Princess I've seen has influenced my impression of the game's themes quite a bit, but I think that the twilight wolf form being forced forced upon our hero at times is a strong part of the story alure, maybe he's more disoriented than we are, maybe he can't stand being that way, or perhaps he'd feel blindly savage or frightened like that, like Wanda suddenly being the monster at the end of Shadow of the Colossus, everyone else's fear serving to reinforce their confused impression of themselves.

Eventually it's thrilling and rewarding to get to be whatever wherever and feed our ultimate completionist desires to experience every possibility, but I totally agree with Twilight Princess's plot design of forcibly controlling when we transformed for the purpose of telling the story.  I don't know anything about the story of Twilight Legends yet, I feel guilty for not knowing by now!  But because playing a Zelda game and even the concept of playing as a wolf isn't new to anyone who will play this, it might a good idea to save any hints of wolf gameplay for later in the storyline than Twilight Princess did, to give players some time to doubt its inclusion or even forget about it.  Just a thought I thought I wanted to share.

Thanks for keeping it up, your update news posts always brighten my day.
